This paper deals with the modeling of cells for electrolytic conductivity measurements. The characteristics of these equipments have to be accurately determined in order to perform reliable measurements, traceable to the units of the International System (SI). A numerical 3D model, based on the Boundary Element Method, is developed and applied here to different cell geometries for evaluating the electric/current field inside the solution and, consequently, the cell impedance.

Abstract
This paper deals with the modeling of cells for electrolytic conductivity measurements. The characteristics of these equipments have to be accurately determined in order to perform reliable measurements, traceable to the units of the International System (SI). A numerical 3D model, based on the Boundary Element Method, is developed and applied here to different cell geometries for evaluating the electric/current field inside the solution and, consequently, the cell impedance.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
