In the framework of the European Metrology Research Program Project NEW-07 “Microwave and Terahertz metrology for homeland security”, a Time Domain Spectrometer working up to about 3 THz has been realized. The instrument took part to the first international comparison in the terahertz frequency range among different kinds of spectrometers.
